Today was the first snow of 2011! It started yesterday afternoon, and continued most of the night. We ended up getting 5.7 inches, which is basically a BLIZZARD in Arkansas terms! Tom and I bundled up, and headed out this morning to enjoy the snow. We trekked all over the area, all through the hiking trails, made a run into the grocery store, and ended with some pizza. Everything looked clean and peaceful. We headed home then and settled in for a long winter's nap, which was such a treat! Then it was homemade chicken noodle soup for dinner, and an episode of the Bachelor. What a great day!
